Dear Friends of Rising Star,

Because of your support, Rising Star has been a successful project to Texas for over 14 years. Unfortunately, due to financial issues, we need to postpone our activities for the 2006-2007 school year.

We are hopeful that after careful planning during our rebuilding year, we will resume our publication and conference in the 2007-2008 school year.

I will continue to maintain our Listserv as a way of keeping you informed and invite you to join now, if you have not already done so.

We look forward to working with you in new and stronger ways in the near future.
